I participated in the #mapvember challenge again this year, designing LEGO maps for use in Dungeons & Dragons games. I designed 29 maps (I missed a day), expanding and refining my modular terrain.
I discovered #mapvember in 2018 as I was just forming my modular system for building D&D maps with LEGO. The inspiration/challenge to build 30 maps in 30 days was a perfect way to start exploring the possibilities.
Check out my 2018 maps here.
I built a few maps in 2019, but life was a bit chaotic and I didn’t finish more than a few.
I’m really happy with this year’s maps, as they gave me an opportunity to show how simple additions to the module sets could create entirely new environments.

With the end of the year just around the corner, I don’t know that I’ll have much time to work on my LEGO D&D projects, but keep an eye out for a series of articles soon!
Keep building and enjoy!
